What do you do when you shower?

I realize that this is private.... That's why I have always been curious as to what others do! I want to know the order of your cleaning and scrubbing: What do you clean first?, What do you clean last?, etc. Also, I am wondering if I am doing everything that I am supposed to do in the shower. D: I'm sorry if this question seems perverted - I promise it is not! Please use nice and/or colorful language for possibly offensive and uber private words. I am going out on a limb here...

Before shower make sure house is secure, than make sure bathroom is secure. Turn on radio to block out miscalonous noises. Warm water up, get in adjust water to proper temperture. Wet hair and body (now I am naked so do not look). Get shampoo ( I do not like the real stuff) and put it in my hand. Put bottle back on shelf. Apply shampoo to my hair and scalp, scrub in real good, get a good lather going. Rinse off my hands first ( do not know why). Put head under shower and rinse vigourously. Use the draining soap to hand wash my face and ears. Now I am blind and vulnarble. I quickly get the small hand rag from inside the shower off the bar and clear my eyes so I can see once again. Rub down my face and clean out my ears with the wash rag. Rinse and clean the wash rag for future use. (sometimes open the shower door to make sure bathroom is still secure. Get wash sponge thinging, rinse it thourouly. Apply the liguid soap. Start with the lower left arm and work up to the shoulder and neck. Do the same with the right arm. Clean torso and underarms scrub really good. Clean privet area and scrub really good do not want any bactira to survive. Clean along hips and lower back. Use extra soap to leave enough on skin surface to wash the buttocks and the crevaice in between. Move down to the legs and feet making sure to get inbetween each tow. Rinse the sponge thinging off really good and replace on the shower bar. Begin to rinse off the entire body. Once this is done I may or may not indulge in some anal play (fingering) in order to thoughly clean inside and out. ( do not knock it till you tried it.) Rinse again to make sure all the soap and stuff is gone. Make sure the shower has no soap, hair or other foriegn matter in the shower area. Turn off the water. Open shower door, remove towel from rack. Dry hair, than face, arms torso, back, crotch, legs. Replace towel to dry, put on underware and t-shirt. Comb hair before it drys. Use cuetip to clean water and stuff from my ears. and finally exit the Bathroom. If you made it this far you are really bored.

No problem, I don't mind answering this question. First, I wash my hair then I put on the conditioner and leave it on. Then I wash my face with facial soap. Then I lather my arm pits and shave them. Then I scrub my whole body and every so often shave my legs, not everyday unless it is spring/summer. Then I wash my private spot with another kind of soap like summers eve. Then I rinse the conditioner from my hair. By then it had time to condition. Then rinse the rest of my body. That's it! All of this takes me about 10-15 minutes.

Well, our house does not have a shower (I wish it did), but its pretty much the same routine as in the bathtub for me. I usually start with my chest, stomach, and arms. Then I wash my groin area and move around to the backside. I then wash my legs. I wash my hair, neck, and face last....then I stand there and just let the water spray massage me for a minute or two.

Yep....taking a shower is darn near as confusing as rocket science. Maybe you should come over to D-Block for a few pointers.

Get in, trying to avoid the mold covered (guys' dorm showers aren't exactly the poster child for cleanliness) curtain, turn on water, wash hair, wash face, turn off water, wash everything else, from hands to feet, turn on water and rinse, then done. Nothing complex about it. Oh yeah, try to avoid the pool of stagnant water on the floor on the way out.

hair first, then face, then body - then any shaving that needs to be done last.

In order: shampoo and conditioner; loofah and shower gel for my face, arms, upper body, legs and feet; then back to the face with lemon soap (keeps those pimples away); wash my girly bits last; shave; rinse out conditioner. Or sometimes I rinse out the conditioner before shaving, and put on a hair mask for the last bit. (usually takes 30 mins all up - I have a lot of hair on my head!)

After the shower: apple toner on the face; moisturize face and hands; tinted moisturizer for the legs and anything else that needs it. :)

If I have the time and no one is home to bother me. After I've washed my hair (and condition) shaved my legs etc...I will **********. It happens about once every two weeks.

Exactly what is it that you think you're missing or not doing in your showering techniques?

Brush out my hair bent forward, step in, wash it, condition it, comb it through, rinse it, put it up in a twisted towel. Then use a pouf with a bit of liquid body wash on it, from feet to neck, to exfoliate. Shaving is done last. I try to be quick to conserve water, always less than 15 minutes. Facial care is done at the sink.
