What do you do when your best guy friend is going after a girl who isnt intersted and taken?

Open a bag of chips, sit back, and enjoy the show! That, or like what's already been suggested, have a quick talk with him. I'm not sure your age, but if appropriate, maybe get him involved in things that will introduce him to new people (I was thinking the bar for kicks, but again, don't' know age)

Laugh, shake your head, and get the booze ready! If he doesn't listen to reason, stay out of the way! He may take the rejection out on you instead of the rejecter. I have a buddy who has been chasing this school teacher for the past year. She is already in a relationship and has recently gotten engaged to be married. Best advise I can give you, just be there.

Try and encourage him to get over it and wait for somebody who is single and interested.

Take him aside.....And give him a quick Smack up side the head...And tell him....."Hey Dummy.....she does not want you.....And she is already with someone else......And then take him out for a drink...and show him that there is others out there.....

Tell him he is being ridiculous- the girl already belongs to someone else. However he could always be her friend (assuming you are talking about teens here). You could also point him in the direction of another of your friends.
