My guys army not air force but I assume relationship wise there's a lot in common. The key is to keep your own life varied and exciting. Socialize with a lot of different friend groups or volunteer at a local animal shelter. Find things to occupy your time and mind. It's good not only to have other things to do, but it gives you something to say beyond "i miss you come home." Their time is not their own so stuff like that just makes them feel guilty, and with enough of it overtime they might just cut things off bc they think they're making you miserable. So do right by yourself, and get to a strong place- its the best thing you can do for a military relationship.

I haven't been involved with an army man but i would think lack of communication, sexual deprivation, general fear of adultery.
