That's probably not the answer you're looking for. Different values exist for different people. Some people might say, to improve the lives of others; some say to get closer to God; or to be happy, or learn, or teach. To leave the world a better place (many different perspectives under that umbrella, heavens). You're allowed to choose your own values & goals, and if others disagree with you it's alright - everyone can make up their own minds & hearts.<br />
For me... it used to be "personal growth", which is rather general.
