What do you have sitting in the center of your coffee table right now?
In honor of the Easter holiday, I have a ceramic rabbit (clever and unusual, huh?) in the middle of mine. I did have a basket of chocolate Easter eggs, but my dogs tried to eat them so I had to move the candy to the mantle, out of their reach.

I used to have a coffee table. It was highly polished brass....very difficult to keep clean. If I still had it, it might have a silver pedestal dish filled with candy on it....that's what I used to do at this time of year.

my feet presently ... there is also 3 cell phones a can of sprite zero, two remote controls a notepad and a pen, box of kleenex, a digital camera, an mp3 player with ear buds.... and a tiny notebook mouse... oh and a nail file and 4 bottles of nail polish

I prefer not to have a coffee table. I think they are bulky.... If i did have one with no child then i would think there would be a candle or vase or magazine.
