As long as you feed them the right food, which isn't always in stock, give them their sand bath a few times a month, and because their social animal try to handle them like 30mins a day. Their easy to yake care of.

Their little dry poop pellets get everywhere. And I mean everywhere.
I've even found them inside my underwear. D:
They are noctunal, so they get vey noisy as soon as you turn off the light to go to sleep.
They are cute, though I don't know if they really form any bond with their owner. They can be handled, though may occassionally bite. I'm just not sure they love you back like (for example) a dog would.
