What do you think about cutting out a rash on my arm?

Because a Dr. and a Dermatolgist don't know what it is or what to do, and I itch so much that I scratch and bleed. So I cut out a piece, bled a bit , it healed and now it isn't itchy. Think they will sit up and take notice?

NOTICE the DETAILS. I have already done it, and it worked! No more itch. I once shaved away the bumps but no go. Drastic situations call for drastic measures.

I had tried ever anti-itch cream as well.
I did not get an infection and I will tell the Doctor that I will cut them from both arms unless he freezes them off or digs them out with a nail-clipper too!

Bleach and sandpaper...my kind of gal!

umm...try anti-itch creams, or maybe some painkiller...aloe, oatmeal bath, vitamin e whatever....cutting it out will leave a bad looking scar, and a rash tends to go away on its own. If it doesn't you may need antibiotics but might want to try an anti-hi8stamine first.

I don't think you should do it (unless you apparently already have).
If it's some sort of skin infection, that's a direct way to get it circulating throughout your whole body... and that's not that fun.
Best of luck though. Undiagnosed rashes are no fun. Ask an allergist maybe?

No. It could have been any number of things causing that. You know that it is very likely that it would have gone away on its own. if you keep getting things like that, start taking a histamine blocker like Calaritin or Zyrtec. An allergy can manifest itself in more than a single form.

Ummm....They will probably notice. But why would you hide something from your doctor?

I was going to say not to do it. But then it occured to me that if I was in that situation I'd probably carve into my arm too. I had a red mark on my foot that was sore and it wasn't going away so I solved the problem with a nail file. Didn't to any harm. Good luck whatever you decide to do.

I think you are setting yourself up to get a nasty infection. My advice is to try something else.
