What do you think about love and marriage?

ideally speaking, marriage is a public declaration of two people in love. when you marry it means you share everything for richer and for poorer... i guess we know all this. the real question is how do we know if we are ready to marry someone, it is risky. however, when we love someone we want to take the risk...

they are both the most chaotic, beautifull, kindest, hardest, dreamiest, most realistic, exciting, perfect, sad, perfect, gut-ripping, colourful, timeless items there are in the whole world.

I believe everybody needs to love and be loved. I don't know if I believe in marriage, at least for me.

As long as it's with the right person, it would be great. With the wrong person, terrible. It's finding the right person to love, and love you back, that seems to be difficult. At least for me it is.

It will eventually hurt you and make you think different about it!

If you have found the right one then marriage and love can be magical. sure you have your bad days and times can get tough no marriage is without its flaws. But if 2 people love each other and are willing to actually take their vows to heart "to have and to hold in sickness and in health in good times and bad til death do you part" then marriage can last and love will grow with each day that passes...

Marriage... is a big step. Isn't taken serious enough. Is given up on too easily. Is valued more by homosexuals than heterosexuals. Isn't respected.

Love... is an illusion. Is a waste of time. Only gets u hurt. Makes u blame and or turn against yourself. Makes u do stupid things. Makes u doubt outsiders. Makes ppl act funny. Makes the most beautiful families. Can bring ppl together. Or tear ppl apart. Love can damage a perfectly good heart. Can domino effect from a one persons bad experience. Love will get u hurt. It will get u nowhere. Sorry for being bitter, but I've had my heart broken a few too many times. Love is a deadend.

Love is caring more about somebody else than oneself. True love is not afraid of commitment. Lust is afraid of commitment and is the opposite of love. I believe that any man and any woman can have a happy marriage if they have similar goals and are willing to put the spouse first in life. When people go into marriage intending for the marriage to last 5 to 10 years, of course things will fall apart. God, however, has other plans for marriage. He performed the first marriage in this world (see Genesis 2), and according to Ecclesiates 3, what God does is eternal--so a marriage performed by God for Adam and Eve is to last forever (as long as Adam and Eve don't back out.) God is a loving Being (even when we, His kids, do nasty things) and He is teaching us through this life to be loving as well. If a couple can love one another despite differences, work together in the good times and in the bad times, and fulfill the requirements God has set forth for an eternal marriage, marriage can and should last forever as should love. Marriage, when it includes God, is the greatest teacher of "how to love" this world has to offer. Family relationships that are built on trust, love, and concern for the common good are the greatest source of happiness that exist.
