What do you think about the pregnant man?

Not much, but obviously her publicist disagrees with me.

He's not a man - he's a woman.

There are things in life God made for a woman to do. Why is there a pregnant man? Its freakish. It reminds me of when my father died. Instead of allowing the man to die peacefully he was stuck full of tubes, put on a breathing machine and one that pumped his blood. This is not the natural order of things. God made things to happen as they should, not for man to have babies. Has anyone ever considered the hormonal thing with a man having a baby? What if the baby turns out deformed or mentally challenged? It is an abomination for a man to have a child.

He probably wouldn't like this, but I think of him as a woman. Because he has the plumbing. The whole genetic and fertilization industry scares the crap out of me. I do not trust something this vital to the profit motive. No doubt horrible attrocities are and will be committed.

What's all this he/she stuff? He is a man. A transman, none the less, but still a man. He's had hormone therapy to make him a man. Yes, I am aware that it is our gametes that make us genetically male or female, but what is inside counts too.

On the note of the pregancy, more power to him if he wants to be pregnant. In the light of the negativity that people have towards him, he is being very brave. I do feel that he's milking the limelight a bit, as he clearly wants the fame and attention, but ultimately it's his choice and I will defend my opinion that he's a very brave person in doing so.

I don't give it much thought actually. It is a woman. There is nothing scientifically interesting about this story. Socially, I find it neither shocking nor disturbing... whatever...:)
