They are "Special" often in situations without proper support using their skills and ambilities to accomplish an extraordinary mission. If anything about it was normal, they would not be there. They should be highly honored and repsected, but since much of what they do is not public knowledge, their praise comes from within. It is a hard job, but has its own rewards for one who desires that type of service. And I would include some advance recon poeple in the same group as they are out front of everyone and at special risk unknown except maybe to their immediae superiors.
