What do you think God would think about people smoking marijuana?

I don't think God would say anything....he's got bigger problems to deal with.

Does the bible say anything about not smoking marijuana? Did God not put marijuana on the earth, long before we came and wiped it out? George Washington smoked cannabis. It was not always looked at as such a bad thing. Do you think George washington was frowned on by God for smoking the plant He put on the earth, that we humans decided was evil and should be removed from the land (marijuana used to grow rampant, in most regions and climates)

if our eco system is so fragile why would we mess with it so much as to remove a plant in the masses

cannabis plants have the ability to reverse the green house effect, maybe we wouldn't be having this climate crisis if we hadn't tore all these plants out of the ground.

Hmmmmmm.......well, your question makes the assumption that God is not humans' creation, but rather that humans are God's creation. (I will not say a word about the consequences of "assuming"!) I, as an agnostic, must believe that God is overwhelmed by horror and disappointment as He observes, for millennium, His creations' infinite capacity to squander their one short chance to truly celebrate His glory by focusing on insignificant crap like marijuana usage.

If it's purely marijuana grown naturally, I think he would be happy that he could give his children some pleasure and a reprive from whatever ails them.

Well i for one let God speak for Herself, but I imagine She'd view dimly those who smoked Her weed without giving Her Her cut, so say a little prayer every once in while people!!

EVERYTHING that God created is GOOD. Its how we as humans abuse his creations. Jesus turned water into wine, for us to enjoy alcohol. The problem is when one takes too much and gets drunk. So, in regards to marijuana. . . Which is (In my opinion) a 'light' drug. . . God sees nothing wrong. . .

My dad and I spoke about this not too long ago. He said back in the day, people went into the hill (Hindi worshipers) and smoked weed to feel and be closer to god...so i said ok so it's ok if i smoke weed? lol my dads like NO WAY! haha made me laugh

The same as those who abuse alcohol. If it alters your perception and drops your inhabition to where you will do something sinful than yes it is definitly something God would not want you to do. And by the way there are thousands of plants that can cause similar effects and possible death, but no one is out there doing those either, because they are not healthy for you. Rationalize on your own terms do not bring God down to your level to do it.

Well to not get into the agnostic-atheist reasons I believe...god is good, god is great, god made weed, so lets get baked.

If the good and wise god put marijuana on Earth, then he also put the THC in it. He knew man was a creative race, because he made us, so he knew one day we would find all these plants and their properties and use them our way. To him it isn't a sin, its man who made marijuana usage illegal and bad.
