Just don't reply. If you try to reason you just get more bothered, might as well ignore it.
Your opinion is your opinion and we shouldn't have to "edit" it just to not offend every one who may take offense.
This doesn't give people the right to be rude, but a persons offensive words can be some one elses comfort. Its all a matter of opinion.
