What do you think of "gamers"?

I think the leveling progress and sense of accomplishments in the game world, along with the social network of like-minded friends in-game make things like WOW addicting. I see people get really wrapped up in it and physically deteriorate for lack of leaving the computer! (yet here I sit as I declare it)

The ones who are addicted to games and play them 14 hours a day without stopping, and who live on Cheetos and Coke, and only shower once every few days, need some therapy and a life. At some point, enough is enough. The ones who are "casual" gamers are fine though. If they can be passionate about video games and still live a normal life, good for them. Rated: +2Vote for this!

No different to sports fans, fishermen, car enthusiasts, gardeners; anyone who has a passion that they are overly enthusiastic about. It can become an unhealthy obsession if they're not sensible. As long as they're not neglecting their real life and the real people in it, as long as they're going to work, meeting up with real friends, getting out to do something else sometimes, no big deal. EmotionalTendenci es	Posted Jul 28th, 2009 at 12:48AM They (or should I say we being one of them myself lol) are just like any other group of people. Some are really nice and great to know and others aren't so nice and I want nothing to do with them. But I've made some friends through online gaming that I've known for like 10 years now. Gamers are just like any other community/group of people you can find online or out in the real world :) Rated: +1Vote for this!
