Judging by what the stock market (and thus my retirement fund) has done since he announced it i have to say i don't like it much.

alisheaskylar	Posted Mar 9th, 2009 at 7:04PM I think it will work but it will take a while. Stocks are down in anticipation of their actions to artificially inflate their values and of their Swiss bank accounts (cough AIG cough). As the Canadian Prime minister said, we need to learn from past mistakes and regulate. While it's starting businesses will flounder but we will have stability in the long run. Obama's plan does that. Read it, it makes so much sense. Rated: +2Vote for this!
poedmusician	Posted Mar 7th, 2009 at 8:56PM Stimulus/Obama's Plan = Spending money the Fed does not have. And that is bad. I'm a staunch hater of credit of any sort. Neither a borrower and lender be or so one of our forefathers said. When our own government is spending money to "save the economy/save money" like a 15 year old with a credit card, you know something goofy is going on. Rated: +2Vote for this!

rusted	Posted Mar 7th, 2009 at 8:56PM It's smoke and mirrors. He and his people are using it, and other "things we need to take action on" in order to become more powerful. I hope that pretty soon they will stop acting like kids in a candy store. Rated: +1Vote for this!
Shellfinder	Posted Mar 9th, 2009 at 7:03PM I am not sure about it. First, I really think that it is way too late. I dont think we can save it. What will happen now is people will have to count on their survival instincts eventually. I do think Obama has to do something but they should cut out the pork and stick to putting people to work. We will see this summer if it helps. For now the people just have hope. The people should NOT blame, get out there and do something. Rated: +1Vote for this!
