This won't win me any friends, but I think Russians can manage their affairs however they like. If they prefer to keep their children to themselves, it's their business.

Sounds like business as usual in our country of fundamentally flawed government.

Finally a good question..........................
Russia is pissed because that one family sent their adoped Russian baby back to Russia. What Americans don't realize is that these kids have problems. I feel for the family that adoped that Russian kid from hell. All the money spent, all the time wasted..........Hay Mr. Russian President, you are doing us Americans a favor..................that means ban is good for Americans, bad for Russian Children.......Like (1)

It was an evil move. Lot's of hearts broken. On the other hand, there are so many kids in America who need adopting.

I assume tons of kids were being kidnapped in Russia to supply the desperate families in the US?

I think it's sad that these kids are being used as pawns by Putin.

Bad idea. It was an excessive response to a punitive and immoral US law, but it gave up the ethical high ground. Still, I understand why they'd be so pissed.

Agreed that the Russians have a legitimate complaint with the U.S.Like (1)

I think it screwed over a lot of hopeful families and crushed the dreams of a lot of children.

I must say I don't agree. Politics should not ever get involved in people's lives.
But then in the other hand. It makes me question why would someone want to go as far as Russia to adopt a child when you have children in your own country who would love and need a home just as much.
