True love can be expressed in bed; puppy love at the pet store.

It is just a feeling I have only shared three times, and we knew right away and I have lost all three of them to death.

Puppy love is based on those butterflies you get when you first meet someone and like them a lot. Puppy love is in an alternate reality where all that exists is you and your new love, you're both eternally perfect, and nothing bad happens. Once something shatters that alternate reality, you can either break up or work through it. If you work through it and don't go back to that alternate reality, it's true love.

when i see the term puppy love, i think of teenagers in high school. when i see the term true love, i think of mature adults who respect each other and know how to treat each other right.

True love finds you. You find puppy love.
True love is forever. Puppy love is just a start.
True love has love and hate. Puppy love has neather.
True love can be from worlds apart. Puppy love fades with distance.
True love knows. Puppy love thinks.
True love grows. Puppy love shrinks.
True love is real. Puppy love is just a thought

Peopel lie about puppy love or even true love to be popular and for people to like them. True love lasts and it's only if the person loves you back. Puppy love is not something that will probably last or even start.

    Time.

People don't "fall in love". Love takes time to form as a bud, then blossom into something beautiful.

True love is something you only find in a person you are meant to be with. Love with that person is unconditional. The love you share is forever. Things can come up to rattle the love, things like heart brake, issues, changes in the strength of the love, but though it all you stay together. If something brakes you apart you may find one another again later in life, proving that is was true love.
Puppy love in my opinion is something you find in high school, a mere crush.

True love is the safest place in the world, the most comfortable and secure place you could be. Its like a warm comfortable bed when your too exhausted to old yourself up a second longer.
