I wish they'd have let my elementary school teachers skip me ahead like they wanted. The "social" experience they wanted so desperately for me to have turned out to be absolutely worthless.

I wish my mother would have put her kids before her sleazy boyfriends. I wish my parents would have had more of a vested interest in our education and extracurricular activities. I wish my dad didn't drink. I wish my mother would have stayed home and raised her children instead of leaving me (the oldest) to do it.

I wish that they did not spank. They used wooden spoons, belts, and hangers, made us pull down our underpants, and they did this till I was 16 I made it clear that it would end there and then. I told them it was abuse and that if they didn't stop I would make them. I was scared as hell when I stood up to them. Even though I'm a woman I'm built like a lumberjack so they took me seriously, but I still wish things could have been different.

They should have realised that when you make kids that automatically means they physically exist.

Kids were a bad idea for my parents. In truth, they made a bad move getting married. It would have been better had they found ways to be happy before getting into relationships.
