What does a breast biopsy entail? Does it hurt, leave a scar? Can I drive myself to the procedure?

They give you a local anesthetic, use a needle to remove some tissue. If they have to remove a lump it leasves a small scar, kind of a badge of courage. Depends on your level of tolerance whether you drive or go with a friend. I'd suggest a friend.
