What does a wolly mammoth spirit guide symbolize?

It's a serious question so all you smart azzes with snakry comments please stay away.
I tried researching online but nothing really substantial is coming up, so frustrating.
No doubt because this is an extinct animal, however what i find puzzling is they do have meanings for mythical creatures O_o...oh well...

This is very important to me.

Thanks all.

Hey up. Yes I know what you mean. I am very close to Mammoths and believe I am connected to them. I would go with your instincts on this one.....they are similar to the elephant in character, family orientated and soulful but are much bigger and hardier. They are protective, strong and sensitive. They obviously became extinct due to climate change. I have a great connection to the north, and deeply concerned wit the oil drilling taking place. Not a stupid question at all --- but with most spirit animals- it shall teach you want it wants to show if you ask. I hope that makes sense. Love and Light xx

Research its lifestyle. What are its strengths or weaknesses? Compare them to yours. Animal guides appear to us to make us aware of things inside ourselves.

If his voice sounded like Ray Romano, then I say you were saved from Sabertooth tigers by a sloth in a previous life.

    Beyond that... found these:

Wooly Mammoth -- (In the legends of the arctic peoples it was believed to be a large, burrowing monster who died when it saw sunlight) The use of ancient medicines. Freezing food for much later use.

Surely you jest when you say this is a serious question. A wooly mammoth spirit guide ? Spirits are supposed to be a human thing ( for chistians, anyway ). What religion attributes wooly mammoths with a spirit ?

Spirits are recycled energy. They can be anything. Also, native American astrology is based around animal guides or "totems"

Come on Lunadelobos, did you really expect a serious answer?

Have you been reading too much of Flintstone, B "A Revisionist Approach to Palaeontology" (pub. Hanna-Barbara) laced with a goodly mixture of the sort of literature you find in crystals-&-whale-song-CDs emporia?

This is EP after all... They seemed to have lingered on in Northern Siberia until geologically very recently, possibly until only about 7000 years ago. I don't believe in spirits & spirit guides so to me they have no meaning: they were just big hairy pachyderms. if though you do believe in them, they will mean whatever anyone cares to invest in them - hence my comment that you won't get a serious answer. Yes you will get some sincere replies, from either other believers giving their own view of its "meaning" , or from people like me denying the existence of such "guides". Otherwise you can expect at least some mickey-taking.
