    It's short for anonymous, used to denote a situation where the identity of an author simply isn't known, more so than one who has deliberately chosen to conceal his or her real identity.

    It's also a rather archaic word for "shortly" or "in a little while".

    Oh shoot, really? I was expecting it to be a lot more stylish than that...it almost sounded like Latin. Like a Latin word for something strangely magical
