What does everyone think about the president asking to forward health care reforms emails?

I feel like everyone is making a big deal over nothing. He is simply asking us to forward emails concerning questions and problems about health care. This whole "enemies list"is foolish and so like high school stuff when is america gonna grow up. They asked for a president that was serious and gonna take care of our problems and they given the poor man a hard time, like seriously? I don't think any president did such a good job in trying to fulfill our needs and taking care of what we really want as indiviuals, and so what if he doesn't delete the messages, one it's against the law and two if ya got something to say even if it becomes public, stand out and say it what is there to be afraid of? President Obama is just trying to take care of our problems personally unlike any president has been able to do. They didn't fail in saying what they would do with the e-mail they clairly said they would answer and questions and respond to the problems.

Why not. The pharmaceutical companies and insurance companies are PAYING people to send out false, misleading information. FoxNews and Limbaugh are passing our false information. There has to be some way for people to get the correct information so they can make their own decisions.

Have you seen the request on the whitehouse blog page?
Tues Aug 4th
FACTS ARE STUBBORN THINGS
"There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there...These rumours often travel below the surface via chain e-mails or Casual converstion. Since we cannot keep track of all of them here at the whitehouse if you get ane-mail or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems "fishy" send it to flag@whitehouse.gov. Disinformation is a catchphrase to describe any opposition or opposing view. The whitehouse has failed to explain what they will be doing with these tips that they hope to receive from citizen informers.

May I suggest a novel called 1984?

I agree with your extra info...Its about time someone actually practiced democracy,.rather than abusing the very meaning of the word, any using it to hide a wolf in sheeps clothing...Its not like asking a politically loaded question..(such as "do you like fascism?"...or "would you spy for china?")......Democracy was not intended to smear people with devious propaganda either...Same thing in australia,..where the bully-boys (AND girls)....try every dirty trick to undermine all honest efforts...They just can't take losing,..even though when in power,..they abuse the privilege so much..Caring about peoples health is the most basic humane thing...Its laughable when the silver-tails and greedy pigs,.start whining about "who's going to pay for it?"...Because who has so far paid for them,.and their best world practice health care plan??

I think the only people who have an issue with universal healthcare are insurance companies and drug companies. We have it in the UK. It's far from perfect, but knowing my doctor can treat me, rather than doing what an insurance company telling him what to do is nice.
