Well as I see this life changes and with in these transitional momenta there should be a core of values and morals to guide you.. I live the color grey at times but love it more when worn with pink. Now.this may sound gay or ghey as one once had said, but it speaks volumes, doesnt it.To know your self and be comfortable enough to be subjected to public persecution, ridicule really takes not only a strong person who really dep down knows they are good and still posess enough strength and integrity to take it on the chin. Chin Chin, Salute, Cheers!

simply put, knowing self is the qualitative relationship between conscious brain and the sub-conscious brain. i've never met anyone, or know of anyone, who completely knows self. the brain is too vastly connected for possibility.

A path to compassion, acceptance and wisdom.
We think we are our identity, but this is just a many la<x>yered persona.
This conditioned personality likes to hide its most painful and unacceptable aspects.
It has an unconscious deviousness of denial, escapism, and coping mechanisms.
Within this outer husk is a truer self.
Within is a conscious witness, the one that experiences.
This awareness, pure, simple and bare, is who we really are.
To discover this truth all we need do is watch and pay attention.
This practise allows us to develop acceptance
of feelings as they arise and pass away.
It develops self knowledge.
With it comes empathy,
recognising others feelings like our own.
With it comes acceptance of experience and lessons,
of conditions and the needs to respond appropriately.
When the automatic reactions of early conditioning arise,
we can see it before we act on it, and choose more wisely
When we can accept things as they are.
A deep natural contentment becomes the background of our being.
All of life continues normally, with all its problems and quirks.
On the outside our personality remains much the same.
Normal emotions arise and pass like weather
but we don't get caught up in the drama and pain.
Life is intensely enjoyable and interesting,
but we have much more freedom to choose our responses,
rather than reacting from our early conditioning.
This is self knowledge.
