it means the guy thinks the girl is cute and wants to get to know her. He is simply cutting the stupid phase of asking other people about the girl instead of finding out himself. This is a smart guy. i need one of these.....

it means that he wants to get to know the girl.
is she as wholesome as she appears to be?
does she have the shine in her soul as her smile?
is she the woman he sees her to be?

coffee is just an excuse for getting comfortable :)

There is evidently something about her that he likes and is interested in getting to know her. He just asked her out in a non- threatening way to "test the waters".
