What does it means when a man sleeps in feotus position?

he only sleeps like that when im around, Ive seem him sleep alone and he never slept like that....

    I sleep that way when my lower back is killing me. Just get one of those full body pillows, he can toss up a leg on it.

    "foetus" is correct, too, I think; actually an older spelling than fetus. Kind of like aeroplane to airplane.

    I've always wondered why some people say 'aeroplane', it seems odd to me.
