When the church was converting Visigoths they moved Jesus's birthday to coincide with the pagan winter festival the priest found that many of the pagans would listen but they did not want to lose those important holidays so they were merged to make the pagans join the church hench one of the rifts between catholicism and other christian faiths other include though centuries later the reluctance to translate the bible into different languages and though Martin Luther was credited as first to accomplish (german) many other men at that time were working on the same means in English, Spanish and French. Which did not please the church in Rome at all

Well Santa actually DID exist in a form... there was a guy named Nikolas who was really rich and used to go around roughly on Christmas eve and give homeless kids or the kids in orphanages presents. Then Coke commercialised the idea...

Santa came First Christmas is a Pagan Holiday. The Christians tryed to stop people from celebrating, when they couldn't get them to stop, they declared from now on we'll celebrate Christ's Birthday on this day. Even though according to records Christ was born in the Summer.

He brought the wise men the gold, frankincense and myrrh that they re-wrapped and gave to baby Jesus, silly!
