paulinlv	Posted Mar 18th, 2009 at 3:01AM Skin cancers often have what they call the ABCD symptoms. I may not remember them all correctly, but you'll get the idea. Asymetry Border is often irregular Color is often unusual, maybe a dark red or purple or.. Diameter is larger than a pencil eraser That being said, if in doubt, see a dermatologist. garys5150	Posted Mar 17th, 2009 at 11:24PM Skin cancer can start anywhere, and aren't always related to sun exposure. I would suggest Googling 'skin cancer' and/or 'melanoma' . You should be able to find a lot of info and see some pics of different types of cancerous growths. Two words though, DON'T DELAY!!! If you think you might a problem, see a doctor right away! NANSELTAR	Posted Mar 18th, 2009 at 12:05AM Skin cancer can start anywhere, and can take different forms. It is usually irregular in shape, can be of more than one colour, or black or warty-looking. It is a living thing and growing, so its shape can change. Go to your doctor immediately. S/he can tell you right away if it looks suspicious, and order a biopsy to make sure. Don't waste any time with this. Skin cancer can spread very quickly, and occasionally the initial lesion will disappear and you'll think you're cured. Not a good thing. Rated: +1Vote for this!
sothisisme	Posted Mar 18th, 2009 at 1:20AM yeah it can start anywhere there is skin... i would just got to the docs if you are worried.. the guy who use to live next to us hand a spot on the back of his neck.. at first thought it was like a pimple or something like a black head but it started to grow.. he died in 4 months get it checked Rated: +1Vote for this!
JojoWazoo	Posted Mar 18th, 2009 at 5:56AM Dauna, If you believe you or someone you know has skin cancer or the beginnings of it, please go see a dermatologist ASAP! Some forms are very aggressive. It can happen anywhere on the body. It's well worth the piece of mind to have it checked AND monitored! Rated: +1Vote for this!
