For some reason Ice Age has made me wish we had mammoths back. Not that they are as nice as portrayed just cool.

It has to be a toss up between the Auk (a very elegant bird) and the Tasmanian wolf, both of which had been wiped out mercilessly by European hunters. It's terrible to think that a different attitude toward the natural world could have prevented this kind of extinction from happening.
