What happened to these fellows and why? Definition of God?

This question is from ancient India. Read, this is quite interesting.

Three priests wanted to test the intelligence of God.

They did penance, God appeared before the first priest.First priest asked for a boon-"I need something that never exists (past, present and future)". God gave it to him.Something happened to him.

God then appeared before the second priest. Second priest was afraid after seeing what happened to the first priest. He asked god "ok, give me something that never exists and something that exists". God gave it to him.Then something happened to him. Then God appeared before the third priest. Third priest was also afraid, he asked god "give me all the things that exist and something that never exists". Then he became the god. Third answer I have given, rest you guess
