It is illegal in Australia as well as in USA.<br />
But you would be lynched before the police took you away.
no its just stupid lol infamouspunk
Not illegal, however the egging of your house and smashing of your car windows out of revenge is.
No not illegal but you will get lots of hate mail.
Why would anybody want to do that? Or to know if it's legal or not? It's a disturbing question. Maybe just for the shock value, eh? Mmhh...................
I don´t know if it is illegal but it is in extremely bad taste.<br />
One can only imagine the inside of the house....
Years ago, I used to hang a Confederate flag outside my house on flag day. Not because I don't like black folks, but because I resented all the political correctness when my ancestors fought, died, and had their families impoverished for years in the South after the Civil War. Sure, they were wrong, but the North was wrong, too. This country was predicated on freedom, and those states had the right to secede. Slavery would have died it's own death out of shame, just like England's did, and close to a million lives, and the war between the races that has gone on for all these years, might have been avoided.
Yep. The truth is , the north did not take the moral high ground in the civil war, and slavery was not really the issue. Lincoln said he was against slavery but would not use the federal government to end slavery. The key issue in the civil war was how the south viewed the federal government and it's tendency to meddle in the affairs of the states. It was an economic and political war.
* Of course there was the issue of maintaining the Union! The free market killed slavery and Lincoln sealed the deal!
It is not illegal, but it is a stupid thing to do.
Why would it be illegal in a country who are run by them?
It's your window. Go for it. Want me to call the fire department now, or do you want to wait?
No, but I would be very happy to replace your brain with a large crater if you did that. Very happy indeed..
It isn't illegal but, it might cause some friction more so. I have heard when even a person puts out a Mexican flag outside their door. It isn't a pretty site and it will cause problems because of what is happening with the blamining of the recession. Too! many mexicans are being blamed for being here illegally. Speaking about the issue is odd; since many in Texas are Americans with Mexican heritage.
It's legal in the United States. Protected under the 1st amendment, but a very bad idea!
Presumably, one's neighbors could bring suit for decreasing the value of their property, since not so many people would want to purchase a house next to a Nazi lover or nut case. <br />
Regarding the issue on the US Civil War (and the North being "wrong too"): There is absolutely no way of knowing whether or not slavery would have "died its own death out of shame." <br />
I don't recall ever hearing about the vast fields of cotton in England needing to be picked, baled, and taken to the local gin.<br />
My mother was from the South. When I was a kid, I had a "Rebel" flag. When I got older and smarter, I got over that crap. My mother's grandfather and his brother were captured and then pardoned at the end of the war. On my father's side, my father's grandfather fought for the Union.<br />
There is NO moral equivalency between what the South was defending (slavery) and what the North had to do to end it. The soldiers on both sides suffered a great deal. They did their duty. The soldiers should not be blamed for the war. <br />
Some Southerners may enjoy fantasizing about the beauty and elegance of the Old South, but they are fantasizing about a myth. Just beneath a thin veneer of elegance lay beatings, rapes, torture, and terrorism--the sorts of things that if they happened today, the US would go to war to stop.
Gee, I'm really not sure, but SERIOUSLY a house down the street just did so, and I am not feeling very comfortable now.
It's not illegal though it could be against "Homeowner's Association" rules where you live. <br />
Here's a good place to get a nice flag if you're in the mood.<br />
"Nazism (Nationalsozialismus, National Socialism; alternatively spelled Naziism) was the ideology and practice of the Nazi Party and of Nazi Germany. It was a unique variety of fascism that involved biological racism and antisemitism. Nazism presented itself as politically syncretic, incorporating policies, tactics and philosophies from right- and left-wing ideologies; in practice, Nazism was a far right form of politics.."<br />
From London, U.K. perspective, we are by no means fans of Nazis. Damage in Second World War incalculable, rumbles on to this day. We do, frequently, still wonder how a single misguided man, got an entire country behind his outrageous scheme, and methods. For literally "World Domination". He did not act alone. Germans still have to wrestle with this, as the "losing" side. This very day, they are debating attitude to Moslem residents. Still under World spotlight, because of what happend around 70 years ago, quite a long time. <br />
But. U.S., today ? Had hoped to read one phrase here, but not so far. Do you not describe yourselves as the "Land of the Free". And why ?<br />
"U.S. Constitution".<br />
Would not presume to lecture, from here in U.K.. But is that not entire basis of your rights and freedoms ? I used to have a copy of this fine document, but have currently mislaid. You ?<br />
Voltaire: "I totally disrespect what you say, but absolutely respect your right to say it." Assume it would have been in French. But you get the gist ?<br />
