We have given the world it's killers because we have no time to nurture the things we know to be right and jealously is more and more often become a reason to kill. We need to mentally evaluate all people at certain ages making it mandatory for all to undergo. It's time for the government to stop wasting money of programs that make no difference and start concentrating on it citizens. that is what's happening we have forgotten the populace and concentrated more on making war and being generous to the rest of the world and forget the citizens,

A rise in secularizm is partially to blame. Desenstization to empathy due to the media and entertainment industries. More broken families and a destabilization of the home enviroment. Those things were kept in check better in the past. Now everyone thinks it's OK to do what they want from their own POV. Add those elements to people who have strong social or emotional problems, then you have an enviroment for angry people acting out like you've seen recently. Targeting unsuscpecting people gives them a twisted sense of power or clarity where they act without empathy of others.

I really think violent video games have distanced them from reality. This does NOT mean playing them causes violence cuz if it did the world would fear me. It does mean presenting an image that violence isn't permanent was bound to rub off. Thing is there is no reset button in RL.
