I have heard (not actually experienced so I might be completely wrong) that in some countries, "fender bender" accidents are so common, and people don't even stop for them, they just keep going about their business like nothing happened. Generally, all cars have dents and no one cares. If there were bumper cars, we would be the same way I think, just with less dents. Road rage would likely decrease because people wouldn't be so worried about hurting there precious cars, AND they would know what an accident actually feels like and might have less anxiety over the possibilities.
