What is a "guido"? I've looked on line but see several definitions. Is it good to be a "guido"?

This should go under "I'm so dumb" category but there isn't one!

In my opinion, it means obnoxious italian dude, usually seen wearing a jogging suit, jewelry, and an undershirt. Usually he's the loudest one in the area, surrounded by other "guidos". A new york term... Actually, a guy I knew from New York explained this to me.

I've only heard it used when someone is referring to an under 40 year old low class ("Jersey Shore" low class) Italian-American.

I remember it being a derogatory slang name for a first generation Italian immigrant.
