    Know what your education, skills and abilities are. Know what you can be good doing. And go look for those jobs.

    After yo make a fair assessment of your education and abilities, make a list of all the folks you know (friends, relatives, school mates, teachers, anyone really). rate them by :
    1) will they help you with your search
    2) do they work in the field you want to work in?
    3) Do they know anyone who works in the field you want to work in?

    Then, get in touch with these people and ask for their ADVICE. (don't ask for a job or even if the know of a job)

    You will be surprised at where this leads you.

    contact your local Dept.of Labor,check the want ads, apply in person dressed appropriately,ask people if they know of any jobs not listed but going to be listed soon,keep looking till you find one.
