The best dessert ever created. I so wish I had been able to get Grandma to write down her recipe. She made cheesecake from scratch with all the real ingredients and it was like 6 inches tall and OMG was it good. And Mom has a chocolate version she makes.........drooling!

I think cheesecake was originally a cake of cheese.... I think the person who invented it was making a type of cheese libum ( cake).....At least that is how I understand it.
