What is Consciousness to you?

true consciousness is living in complete truth but that is impossible in our world- we are all disassociated in some way and live only in partial consciousness.

Being aware or awake or do you mean it in a spiritual way?

Bring things to the mind, observe them fully, get clear lessons from this observation and translate the thoughts into action.
All people may think that they know the diamond. Now to know it consciously, I bring it to mind, observe its brightness, hardness, value. A lesson from this observation is that it is not so precious as a loving heart. Then instead of trying to obtain diamond, I try to make my heart into the center of selfless love...Then practice, experience, modification...lots of things will come from the thing which is called diamond. Buddha has developed this into the Diamond Sutra thanks to His Divine Consciousness.

To be blessed with the dignity of knowing that I exist and the Living Truth from which all was created. Not merely "self-conscious" but "God-conscious".
