It is a bit of both, think many of us play a bit but it's also a wonderful place to meet people, express your feelings, thoughts and ideas. My circle is small, like to be involved in their lives and am blessed with a wonderful one, everyone is very much real, encourages each other, shares thoughts and ideas, are there for each other when going through pain. EP can be a very "real" place too

Both really, lol to the second analogy. I think making connections should be experienced every now and again, healthy for the human mind.

I have one close friend here, so I would say its partly for connections. But I also use it when I have absolutely nothing else to do, so it's sometimes used as a game.

Would love it to be the first, but not many want to risk that much, so it is often the second.
