There are only 2 kinds of freedom that merit discussion.

1. Freedom from want. (Food, shelter, etc.)

2. Freedom from fear.

Of these two the more important is freedom from fear. You can never be truly free until you have no fear.

Wow...no wonder this country is screwed up.

Free....unrestrained. Like an animal.

Dom...domain. As in, society.

Freedom...freedom of choice in behavior, vocation, speech, friends, mate, etc... as long as that choice doesn't violate the freedom of another person or break the law.

In other words, I'm not free to rip you off.

I'm not free to kill you just because I think "you needed killin'."

I'm not free to step into your car and drive off with it just because you left the keys in it and walked off.

I can't just assume ownership of your house without you willfully selling it to me.

I can't just walk into your house and sleep in your bed, eat your food, or watch your TV without being invited.

Free...unrestrained, like an animal. No law but nature (anarchy).

Freedom...choices made under the laws of the land.

So, I'm not free. I live in freedom. But, I'm not free.

The right do do what ever you want, although if you excercise your freedom outside of the constraints of the law you can most certaintly expect to have your freedom revoked, which is fair enough, I don't think any of us really want to live in a boundlessly free society.

Freedom is what they say we have in this country, yet everything is against the law.

An idealistic, fictional state of being. No-one is free - no-one. We are all slaves to money, to our kids, our religions, our jobs and everything else in the real world. We can't go anywhere without our mobiles, cant go 2 days without checking our email - we are all slaves to modern living & that's a fact. We all own a TV, we all (obviously) own a computer, we all pay rent or mortgages, we are all in debt to some degree. 'Freedom' is a made-up concept to make the fact that we're all on some giant hamster wheel more palatable.
Our governments feed us this lie and we perpetuate it, when if we'd open our eyes for one second, we would see that all our endeavour for happiness, contentment and abundance is futile and irrelevant in the grand scheme of things & serves only to uphold this lie - that freedom is real. Freedom is not real; it's just a word invented by the elite to keep us toiling away in order to keep them in a lifestyle to which they have become accustomed. If you dont believe me, consider this recent 'global economic crisis' - people are losing jobs, firms are closing down, banks being bailed out etc. But how are the Rockefellers doing? And the Rothschilds? Sitting on their laurels at the top of the pyramid, while we slaves, lesser mortals scrabble around and squabble and compete for crumbs. The sooner we realise that 'freedom' is a made up word which only enslaves us with its unreal expectations, the sooner we can move on as humans and reach a better, happier state of being where what really matters is not what we HAVE, but what we DO.

When you have no fear.

No regret.

No pain.

Then, and only then, are you free.
