What is in your opinion the scariest movie ever?

This can be anything..from Horror to Drama to Sci Fi..just tell me WHY you think it is the scariest :P

"Texas chain saw Masacare" the 1st one, boy i know people like that! all the "SAW" movies, cos some sick little biscuit wrote that S-h-i-t. "Final Destination" the 1st one, the first time i watched it i nearly cra-p-p-ed myself! "The Entity" cos if that s-h-i-t is true!!! "Blair Witch Project" Cos i am well scared of the dark!!! "Helter Skelter" thats an oldie! "Candy Man" i don't know anyone who isnt scared of that one! "The Excorcist" is a scary movie!!
But the one that messed me up the most is
"JAWS"
OMG that film F**K*D me up!! I have never been able to go in the see cos i think there are sharks in it!

Thats why kids should not watch scary movies!!!

overman	Posted Feb 5th, 2009 at 5:58PM I agree with Robert and Tweety. Nothing beats the original Exorcist. I saw it when I was five and was psychologically damaged. I still know plenty of people who will not watch it. That is a huge feet for a horror to be that effective and be so old. Rated: +1Vote for this!

Also i think the upcoming movie 2012 will be pretty scary because it is a possibility. I have seen the trailer and the trailer alone is pretty disturbing! It is in theaters this November. jackdaddy	Posted Feb 5th, 2009 at 1:32PM For me, it was the original Jaws. My parents took me to see it as a child and it definitely was not appropriate for me to see. I can remember not even wanting to go into a pool at night, more or less the ocean! For me, I feel that the thought of something being able to rip you to shreds while you were alive and suffering in agonizing pain was the scariest part. Rated: +1Vote for this!

void00	Posted Feb 5th, 2009 at 1:28PM Still "The Exorcist". I don't know why it scares the crap out of me, it just does. Apparently it was based on a true story and everyone who worked on the movie was cursed. Back in the seventies church ministers were allegedly telling their congregations not to go see it. Smokeseek	Posted Feb 5th, 2009 at 5:58PM A toss up b/t the original Halloween and The Exorcist. I saw both about 10 years old. And it scared the the living crap out of me. Halloween made me scream at the time. But hands down there was nothing more frightening than the Exorcist. It can still give me nightmares. Rated: +1Vote for this!
