What is it with the loud car stereos? Does it drive anyone else nuts?

I don't mind it turned up but when you can hear a vehicle 1-2 miles down the road it's too darn loud! Not to mention what it's doing to their ears. Maybe I'm getting old..er..lol.

I hate it. I also hate the attitudes of people who do it. "If it's too loud, you're too old!" "If you don't like people's loud music, then MOVE AWAY!" It's like... really? Should I let my dog sh*t on your lawn and then blame YOU when you step in it? Jerks...

I sometimes am dEAF when I get out of her car, I swear! My husband knows better, but we do fight over how LOUD he BLARES the stereo in our house, and my MIL has told me that, when he was young, he actually shattered her car speakers from playiong the radio so LOUD!
