biologically speaking life is defined when somthing: metabolizes, responds to stimuli, reproduces,grows,and is mobile at any point in its existence

The energy which composes the elements of a stone is life.
This life is considered as death before the life of a plant which is growng. This life is considered as insignificant before an animal which is moving and reproducing. This life is considered as non-exitent before a man who is thinking, abstracting and building civilizations. This life is utter nothingness before the Holy Spirtit, Who creates and sustains all worlds visible and invisible.
In fact, life is always a mystery, because nobody knows what is energy and hence does not know how to create it.
The meaning and purpose of life is discovered by man through observation of the world and especially through the teachings of the Holy Spirit, Who incessantly manifests Himself as Founders of the world religions.
