My mom allowed me and my brother not to eat vegetables.. I grew to love them while my brother is fourteen and never eats them.. never. I would definitely make my kids in the future eat them because I want them to be healthy.

My parents are overprotective and overbearing so I wouldn't do that to my kids if I have them

Leave on my bike, at five years old, at 6:00 am and return at the 6:00 pm whistle for dinner - no questions asked.

My best friend lived a mile away, and if we wanted to have a sleepover, I'd walk by myself in the late evening

grow up in care , yes i'm not the prefect mother (i'm a recovering drug addict i quit three months ago and have been clean since) but i will always be there for my kids (i have 2 kids, i'm 6 months pregnant with my third) but i could never put my kids though that, it wasn't like they weren't together either (they were both 27 and married) they just gave me up because i was getting in the way of their life. i had my little girl when i was 13, i bought her up by myself with the help off a friends mum, i had my little boy when i was 16 and i am engaged to his dad, i'm now 19 and looking forward to being a mum again and getting married next year. i still cant understand why they gave me up.

My parents gave me the freedom to roam all over the town without always having to know where we were. As long as we were home for lunch and dinner. I know it was a different time and we could not let our kids have that freedom, but at that time it was really nice.

My parents let me get my nose pierced, but I'd never let my kids do that.
