What is spirituality? What does it mean to you?

to me spirituality is about my connection to the energy of the universe, and to life...

to follow my bliss to where ever it might lead and to who ever I might find

I think spirituality is someones personalized version of a religion. I don't think people can follow any religion to an absolute tee cause well we're human and we all make mistakes no matter what.

I don't think it's making some random object into a "God-like" status, it's finding a "routine" that personally fulfills you morally/ethically.

Oooh, tough question! To me it means becoming aware that there is more in life than just the physical. There are things that we can't see, touch or fully understand.

Spirituality is one of those terms that can be defined in many different ways. For me it means an intensely deep meaningful connection anything outside the self, but at the same time this connection also reaches deep within the self and makes us whole in a new way.

REVELATION
Most of us walk through this life thinking we understand why we are here. We have deep religious, cultural, or just basic race background teachings that help us through.
But, what if we were to find out that all of us decided to come here of our own free will to go through the trials and tribulations of Earth to make us better spiritually? What if we were to realize that our Creator has always loved us from the begining of creation, loves us in the now, and loves us into eternity and it will never change no matter what happens? What if we were to learn that what we call Heaven is just going back Home? That there is no fire and brimestone hell if you do wrong, but no eternal life at all. You just go back into the formless void.
Each person is really the creator of their loved or loveless lives!

Our time on Earth is judged by the love and love situations we create with the life we are given. No one can make this happen but ourselves! We could change things if we become responsible for our own lives and stop expecting good things to happen when we keep fostering all the negative aspects of life.

The best thing we can do down here is try having the most loving relationships with every person and creature we meet. We will not be able to take a CD, king size bed, or HD TV with us when we leave Earth. We can take the best feeling in the Universe, though! How about leaving out with our hearts filled with the love we have created! Walk into the Light ... Right!

Spirituality is living in purest essense of love as best we can without making that love an Institution that others must live by or else. We all are at different levels of spiritual strength.
Some people need the structured institutionalized church/Bible or their lives might/would fall apart.
Other people can love this Earth, themselves, and others without all the edicts of so called religion. As long as you love all creation truly without trying manipulate creation for your own good against others then you are quite spiritual.
Morals in spiritual life very important. The easiest way to know what is correct is...
If you could not stand having something done to you, then should not do that something to anyone else. Please respect your family bloodlines and exalt all things in the Earth to the better.
It is really not hard to be spiritual. Most people do it everyday without even thinking about it.

spirituality to me is my connection to the earth....it is not an imaginary entity....it is my creator and sustainer of life...without her fresh water ...clean air...and bountiful lands.....we are nothing....
spirituality is belonging to the earth...protecting-preserving and maintaining it for our children and all life cycles.

spiritualism is the ability to accept the fact that you have a spirit as well as a body and to accept that as a human you are a spirit being and therefore vulnerable to a realm which cannot be contact through the senses and yet must be positively engaged to have a fulfilling human existence.because thingsa happens on two level ,the spiritual and the physical and the spiritual controls the physical.for a man to die physically or be accidented physically or be prosperous physically ,it must first occured at the spiritual level.

the deep calleth to the deep.it is discovered as a fact that human who impacted human existence positively are mostly spiritual persons who are able to hear what others could not hear and who are able to see what others could not see .if a man fails to recognise the spiritual equation of his life he can never fully be on top of his human existence.the bilble puts it this way.the weapons of our warfare are carnal but we are against spiritual wickedness in high place.there are territorial spirits governing every locality in the world.homosexualism and lesbinism rmains a 1st world war issue because of the territorial demon governing these issues are located there in europe.i challenge any involved in the homosexualism and lesbianism to change territories and notice a decline in their inclination towards these unnatural tendencies.

mant atimes a man will be medically found to be hale and hearty and yet the man himself knows he is not well and again a man may be diagonised with cancer ,will be declared bankrupt but he knows he is hale and hearty and he is rich and this will eventually turn out to be his tru physical state.man is a spirit being.tha inability of the 1st world to accept that man is essentially a spirit being is what is responsible for the alarming rate of divorce.a man ,a woman has a spiritual definition which you must discover before you marry them.thats why a woman wakes up and he hates her husband and vice versa.while they slept the man or d woman had a spiritual communication with a 3rd party ,the other spouse is not privy to.so couples must engage themselves on a spiritual level first beforethe physical or else it is only a matter of time.a family that prays together realy sticks together.im segun a nigerian lawyer

I have been on a long search for spirituality and inner peace in my life. I have looked in so many directions, People, places, books, songs, you name it. If only I could go back knowing what I know know my life might of been different somhow. I believe we have to go through what we go through and there are reasons for everything. It is your choice to choose. About 20 years ago I went to this weekend womens retreat called 11th step on the rocks at a place called Enders Island in Mystic CT. This was not a normal thing for me to do but I was glad I did it. This is where I found a taste of
spirituality and inner peace and once you get it your on your way but you may fall back but it is always with you to tap into when your ready. Unfortunitly I was not ready at the time but when I look back I can see how it began for me. When I left this weekend retreat I was amazed to find out that the one place I was not looking was right inside of me. All I have to do now is find a way to connect with this and meditation helps. for me this is not a spacific religion, person, place or thing. It starts deep down inside. Its like a seed deep down inside of you and you have to find ways to make it grow. I just read a book by Dr. Wayne Dyer that was very good called 10 secrets for success and inner peace. It was not until I got to the end of the book that it all connected. I,m not a reader but for some reason I read this book from beginning to end. You can find him on-line also. He is on PBS too. He believes that PBS puts shows on to promote good things in your life while there are other shows that will bring you down. I believe this is a life long journey and it only up to you which road you choose. I'm wishing healing to your heart and peace to your spirit now and the days to come.
