What is talking black?
Okay, So I'm (as you may be able to tell) partially African American but I'm so dark you wouldn't be able to tell that I'm mixed. Whenever I talk around a stranger or someone that I've just met, I'm constantly told that I don't talk black or that I talk really proper, as if they're surprised that I sound educated. I mean I get that there are extremely ghetto people and all, but I didn't realize that the way they talk is subjected to just one race. I mean as far as I'm concerned, there are two types of speech. Educated and uneducated. Not saying that people who use slang are stupid, but that it gives less of an educated feel. I know that sounded really stupid but what do you think?

look people are dumb ***** they assume because you look like a paticular race OR are that race that some how you should act like the piece of **** stereotype they want to label you as, for example im mexican so when they hear me talk and by they i mean white folks cos its mostly them who make that dumb *** assumption (not saying all whites are like this) they act baffled as if im suppose to talk like some ghetto ***** out of Compton, im like really? -__- so yes i feel u.

Its funny I saw black and thought you said back. I moved to the west coast from a small town that was mostly white people... every race seems to have its own dialect to a certain extent ...not everyone just some of them. Not really sure why and I am not trying to be racist at all so not really sure it its a cultural thing here in America or if its because of where the different people come from. I actually like it.
