    When my son was born. It changed me in profound ways, his birth made me realize love in its truest form. It made me push myself in ways I didn't know I could. His birth put me on a road to success because I wanted him to have what I didn't growing up. He gave me focus like nothing ever did before.

    My answer was going to be _exactly_ like yours. Before the birth of my son I was selfish and lived mostly to please myself, and the day I gave birth to my son this behavior came to a complete stop. This was three years ago, and because of my son I have sought help for to medical issues that I have avoided dealing with because I want to be the best mother that I can be. I grew up in a family where no one hugs each other and no one tells others how they feel. I hug my son as many times as I can each day, and I _always_ tell him I love him both in the morning before pre school and I evening before bedtime.

    moving into our house and going to university and losing weight when I was in my late 20's ...that is about it...

    Having my kids. Not necessarily the actual birth because that kind of sucked, but having them in my life.

    Giving birth is the most horrifying pain one will ever experience (I have had two back surgeries and one hip surgery all in my late 20s) - believe me it SUCKS
