A SAHM hid upstairs holding her baby yesterday near here when an intruder broke down her front door. She told reporter that the intruder left without taking anything after he heard the noise of her sliding the action of her gun. Its hard to beat the old reliable Model 1911 for home protection

I've had rotties, German shepards, huskies and a Newfoundland...all really big dogs. But the meanest dog I ever had was a miniature weenie dog. His name was Spike and he was vicious. When it comes to dogs, the ankle biters can be just as nasty as the big guys. It's all about attitude!

German Shepherds are great as family pets and protectors. Warning they shed alot and require brushing. They are protective of children in the family. Watch out for hip problems in some lines

Doberman, german sheppard, rotweiler. Some people have little dogs though that are great watch dogs to keep in house.
