Hard to say. There are hundreds, if not thousands of inventions that we overlook each day, that we use almost every day. Weaving is a great one, since most of us wear cloths, and has been around for 10,000+ years (probably). Cooking food, is another obvious one. All game changers in the lives of humans.
Necessity. After all she's the Mother of them all!

The mirror. Think about it; we'd have to rush to a river and hope it showed our reflection, every time we needed to see ourselves. We'd have to trust that everything was ok. Ugh can't even begin to imagine life without it, despite all the fear and pain it causes me ;/
