Say thanks to the men and women who have served or are serving our country. And don't forget to thank their mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, wives, husbands, and especially their children.

Invite someone who is far from home to join you in your Independence Day celebration, whatever their nationality, it's a great experience for both of you.

midlifemadness	Posted Jul 3rd, 2009 at 1:00PM hang out with family, friends... go watch a fireworks show. if you do buy fireworks be careful! I hate those things... someone always gets hurt. I wish they would ban them from being sold in my city. If people want to see them, a show is the way to go anyways! Every year I have to keep an eye on my house because people from other cities that can't have fireworks, come to my city and set them off. Then they don't even clean up their mess!! :s The next day you hear about home fires due to illegal fireworks and misuse of the ones people buy. It's a shame and a waste of money.
