When dropping them off in the front of the junior high school, call them back to the car... and get out of the car to give them a kiss..... that should really embarrass them....

I threatened my kids if they act up in the store and embarrass me, then it's game on... I will embarrass them when they least expect it. They acted up while shopping, so later that day it was hockey practice for the younger one. After helping him into his gear, I stepped away a few feet like I was leaving, then turned around and said, "Sweetie Pie, come over here and give your Mommy some kissie-wissies" in front of all his team mates. He was frozen in place with that OMG-you-didn't-just-do-that look on his face. The saving grace for him is that I said that in English and we live in a German speaking area so most of the kids did not understand me. But he learned his lesson (maybe) to not act up in the store.

Drop them off at school wearing a long night gown (stuffed with pillows to look fairly large), use a bunch of hair spray and basically make your hair look like you just got electrocuted, bright pink lip stick, and hold their hand to walk them in. I plan on doing this for my 11 year old. :)

I did one day.. My 14 year old son was coming out of school with all the other kids and I was sitting in my car waiting for him.. When I saw him I shouted:"Liam! Mama is here!" I didn't mean to embarrass him I just wanted to let him know that I was there to pick him up.. When he got in the car he said:"Mum, don't do that ever again!!"
