Wait until they are over 21, or send them to live with their father(s) first.

Why should I have to wait until they are 21 to be happy?

Unless you have met his full family and he gives you a ring they dont need to meet. He is going to be forced to play nice with kids that will be rude and want nothing to do with him.

I since bitterness in your answer? My kids already understand that I am dating. They are the most important people in my life, but if anyone is to be truly happy they will have to understand how important I am to him.

And if you get hurt because you rushed it? Once you have a wedding date and they are okay with you getting married they can meet. Why force it? I know your older then me but that doesn't mean you need to rush.

That seems rude to my kids. I value your input but we are not the run to Las Vegas kind of couple.

Having been in their position when I was younger; Talk to them beforehand, explain that he's important to you and you hope they can get along with him. They're probably going to resent him to some degree whatever you do; it's just an awkward situation for everyone involved. But they love you, so if you're straightforward with them about your own feelings they should at least make an effort.

just go straight up to them and introduce them to him. tell them that you want to have someone to share your life with in more ways than you can do with your kids.

what do you wanna do that? why not keep your bf outside of your family life? Not a good idea if you plan to make him their dad... They just can't accept it.. and it can be major distraction to their life.

Make up an excuse you can't make it to take them to something they really want to go to ...movies etc. But let them know your boy friend is gonna be able to do it. He'll be the hero before they have a chance to hate him
