I agree with Endomorph, that's what I did two weeks ago. Find an apartment you want to live in, put a deposit on it, then tell them a week before you move out that you are leaving. It will be awkward living there for a couple days/few days so you may want to plan on a speedy escape....enlist friends to help you pack quickly and move out. A flexible landlord is always appreciated. PM if you need advice, I just went through this : )
